National Gallery

The most important and largest art gallery in Greece was founded in 1900 and is located in the center of Athens, opposite the Hilton Hotel and just a few steps from the Evangelismos metro station. It has approximately 20,000 works of art, paintings, sculptures and engravings, covering Greek and European artistic creation from the post-Byzantine period to the modern era.
